Colourful Canals at Sunset – Venice, Italy
As noted in our roundup of the World’s Most Photogenic Cities, Venice is one of those magical places that offers fantastic photo opportunities around each corner.
This photo was captured just before sunset, the perfect time to explore the romantic city. The sky was a brilliant shade of purple, blue and yellow, and the evening sun seemed to illuminate the colourful windows and bright pastel buildings. The setting and colours felt surreal, as if we were in a childhood cartoon or standing in front of a mural.
