Photo of the Week: Marigot Bay in St. Lucia

Marigot Bay in St. Lucia, Caribbean

Located on the western coast of the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia, Marigot Bay has been labeled as one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. The picturesque cove was once the site of many battles between the French and British navies, but today it’s home to luxurious resorts and extravagant yachts.

We didn’t go down to the beach because we were on a private tour of the island that only included a stop to the lookout point where this photo was captured.

We visited St. Lucia while on a Southern Caribbean cruise, so we had limited time to explore. From what we did see, St. Lucia is definitely a place we would love to return to in the future.

Have you visited the Caribbean? Where did you go? What was your highlight?
