Canucks vs Bruins – Stanley Cup Finals in Vancouver, British Columbia
It’s no surprise that Canadians are passionate about their hockey. To many, it’s a religion worthy of worship.
On the 40th Anniversary of the franchise, the Vancouver Canucks are playing in just their 3rd Stanley Cup Finals. They have never won the coveted trophy, so you can imagine the excitement that is brewing in Canucks fans!
Facing off against the iconic Boston Bruins, an original six franchise in the National Hockey League, Vancouver fans poured into the streets to enjoy the festive atmosphere and watch the home team compete in the Game 2 of the championship series.

Miraculously, only 11 seconds into the overtime frame, Canucks hero Alex Burrows lifts the city to elation with his game winning goal. The city erupts into uncontrollable celebration.
It was a party scene similar to the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, with floods of blue and white jerseys chanting “We Want The Cup” while slapping high fives and hugging complete strangers.
We can only imagine how crazy this city will get WHEN it wins the Stanley Cup! Go Canucks!!
