Baby B’s First Adventure is a Success!
We recently took Baby B on his first road trip to one of our favourite destinations – Whistler, British Columbia.
At only 6 weeks old, we were unsure how he would respond to the 2-hour road trip and the winter conditions. I’d like to say that he was stoked about the trip and loved the breath-taking views of snow-capped mountains, but the honest answer is that he couldn’t care less about where he was. That said, he was on his best behaviour for the three days and didn’t seem bothered by the change of scenery.
I went snowboarding on Blackcomb Mountain with a group of friends from Ontario, while Nicole hung out in the alpine village with Baby B and some friends from Vancouver. It was the first getaway since he was born, so we were thankful to finally get back outdoors in the mountains, spending time with good friends.
Baby B at his first apres ski session at Garibali Lift Company mountainside lounge in Whistler Village. He’s not quite sure what to make of the situation, but he loved the loud music and didn’t seem to mind being the center of attention (he gets that from his daddy).

How’s that for a patio view?!
We’ll be heading back to Whistler next weekend to celebrate the holiday season in the mountains, so hopefully we’ll get some fresh snow and a repeat experience from Baby B!
Happy Holidays to you and your family!
