Streetcar in Paradeplatz, Zurich
This week’s photo comes from Paradeplatz, a busy square at the Bahnhofstrasse in downtown Zurich. The square is a central transportation hub and is said to be one of the most expensive pieces of real estate in Switzerland.
We love the look of Zurich’s streetcars and enjoyed the simplicity and efficiency of its transportation system – likely because our transit system in Vancouver is sub-par. Switzerland is not the most budget friendly travel destination, so we relied heavily on it’s transit system to avoid pricey taxis and car rentals.
