Finding Serenity in Wadi Rum, Jordan
We captured this week’s travel photo while on a jeep safari in Jordan’s infamous Wadi Rum, also known as The Valley of the Moon.
Our group gathered around a small fire, prepared by our guide so that he could boil a fresh pot of sweet tea. It was a special moment, surrounded by huge rocky mountains, wavy red sand and endless desert panorama. Not a person in sight. No cell phone service. No vehicles. No sign of civilization anywhere… or life for that matter.
