A Snowy White Christmas on Cypress Mountain
The Vancouver local mountains received an early Christmas present last week with 4 straight days of double digit centimeters of new snow, bringing the mountain base to well over 300+ cm. Yes, we use centimeters up here in Canada (for our American friends, 1 cm = 0.39 inches).
As such, we woke up early to catch some of this fresh powder and managed to be at the chair lift for first runs of the day. It’s nice to be rewarded for our effort!
Big rush to the lift after the gates opened – Vancouverites don’t mess around on powder days!
