La Petite France, Strasbourg
If you’re headed to Europe this summer, one place you must add to your travel itinerary is La Petite France, a cute medieval neighborhood located in the old quarters of Strasbourg in the Alsace region north eastern France.
The Grande Île is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is famous for it’s traditional black and white timber-framed buildings, old tanning-houses, baroque sandstone buildings, Gothic cathedrals, ancient canals and river locks.
Strasbourg is a very old city that has an interesting past, most notably that it was once a part of the old German Empire, which explains why it has such a strong German vibe.
