Winter at Lake Louise, Alberta
With the Holiday Season upon us, I thought this week’s travel photo should include some of the white fluffy stuff. We captured this quintessential Canadian winter scene while visiting the Canadian Rockies earlier this year.
We had previously visited Alberta during the summer months, but this was our first experience in the Rockies during the winter. It has a completely different vibe in the winter.
We lucked out with the weather during our visit to Lake Louise. It snowed overnight and continued throughout the morning, creating the perfect winter atmosphere.
It doesn’t get anymore Canadian then kids playing ice hockey on a frozen lake that’s surrounded by mountain peaks and glaciers!
Happy Holidays to you an your family!
